"Can Roura" - Mancor de la Vall -

LOCATION

"Mancor de la Vall" is situated  about  five kms. from Inca., Located in the northern part of  "la Serra",  joining  with the "Puig sa Fita" (905 m.) Belonging  to the munipaliy of Escorca and Selva. In the  West and South are the towns  "Alaro" and" Lloseta."

The central element is  the "Puig de Suro" mountain  (644 m.) high and beautiful valleys, covered with forestry of white pine and oak. The landscapes also has an olive plantation, adding even more beauty to the area.

 Mancor de la Vall  is best known for its  historical past and architecture, "la capilla de Sta. Llúcia" (the chapel of  Sta. Llúcia), the parochial church; the possession of Massanella and the environment; the Son Morro tafona (almazara)  with the catle ; casal de Can Marquesí, where the doctor Joan Josep Amengua, writer and philologist, was born in 1976.  Today it is a  restaurant Can Jano.

The distance to the beaches of  Pollensa and Alcudia Bay  are approximately 25 km, and to Palma 27 km.
