DESCRIPTION OF THE AREA

The village of Búger is located among the terms of Campanet,  Sa Pobla, Inca and Selva.
 
Enclosed on the west, east and south by 100 to 150 meters high hills and  a surface of only 8 sq. km. With  917 inhabitants, Búger is the smallest village in Mallorca.
 
The typical and popular craft from Búger is the production of "Picarols" (sheep bells) and wooden spoons. It is also well known for its excellent sheep and pig livestock.
 
Almost all village bars have the tradition of offering  the  visitors, every Friday night, some examples of the traditional majorcan gastronomy, and  a  crafst .display.
 

Búger celebrates their patronsday,  San Pere  the 29th of June,  and on the first weekend of May the "Jai" is celebrated.. At this Jai celebration everybody  goes  to  have picnic in the forest.

The distance to the sea in the north-east area is only 17 kilometers, here you will find the fabulous beaches of Muro and Alcúdia.
